The Excellence Gala is The Trotter Project’s marquee annual event, which attracts food and wine luminaries and connoisseurs of luxury from around the world. You and a guest will experience a truly unforgettable evening that supports the foundation’s Pillars of Excellence Program while honoring the achievements of its culinary scholarship recipients and legacies of two of America's iconic Michelin-starred chefs, Charlie Trotter and Homaro Cantu.

This year’s theme, Women and Innovation, is a celebration of the culinary industry’s female powerhouses as well as Chef Charlie Trotter’s legacy of supporting and mentoring talented women across all aspects of the hospitality field. As a VIP ticket holder, your evening will kick off with a lively cocktail reception that will lead into a multi-course dinner created by Celebrity Chefs Elizabeth Falkner, Tanya Holland, Antonia Lofaso, Stephanie Izard and Pastry Chef Michelle Gayer. Wine pairings selected by some of the country's top, award-winning sommeliers will accompany each course. The night will also include Trotter Project programming recognizing this year’s deserving scholars and an exciting Live Auction that will feature luxe food, drink, and travel experiences. You and your guest will also have exclusive access to surprise culinary pop-up experiences within the venue. Curated by Excellence Gala co-chairs Belinda Chang (James Beard Award-winning American sommelier, Conde Nast's Epicurious resident wine expert, writer, and restaurateur) and Deb Gross (entrepreneur, philanthropist, Trotter Project Board Member), these experiences will showcase the best in food and wine.
