Two (2) United Polaris Business Class Tickets to BARCELONA, SPAIN
Starting Bid: $3,500
Bid Increments: $100
To reach Chef Antonia Lofaso’s favorite destination, you’ll first need to visit Barcelona, Spain! After taking in the art, architecture, and delectable delights of the city, you can take a quick boat ride or a short charter flight to Formentera. It is the smallest of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea and is known for its clear waters and long stretches of beautiful beaches. Foodies, look for twists on paella and craft cocktails at sunset. Don’t forget to pack a bathing suit as the sea is this island’s playground. Snorkeling, sailing, and sun-bathing are all favorite pastimes for visitors.
“I recently opened DAMA, and wanted to spend more time in Spain – specifically the little islands to explore their little gems of food.”
Top travel tip for Formentera: “Bring your bathing suit, sunscreen & wrap and be prepared to eat lunch at 4pm and dinner at midnight and sleep in!
Two (2) United Polaris Business Class Tickets to PARIS, FRANCE
Starting Bid: $3,500
Bid Increments: $100
A devoted francophile, Chef Tanya Holland’s favorite destination is of course Paris! Whether this is your first time or tenth trip to the City of Lights, there is always something new to discover. Take in the art, food, culture, and general everyday life of Europe’s most cosmopolitan city during your getaway. Whether you’re visiting a Michelin Starred hot spot, enjoying a picnic along the Seine, or simply people-watching with a glass du vin. Paris never fails to inspire thoughts of a return visit tout suite.
“France is important to me because I’m a huge Francophile. My birthday is Bastille Day, so it seems meant to be. I lived in Paris for a short time as well.
Top travel tip for Paris? “Everyone should just walk the city and get lost. I love all of the neighborhoods, especially the ones with pedestrian street markets. In Paris, find a good neighborhood bistro or brasserie and have the plat du jour - something simple. Study Paris par Arrondissement before going - Paris by Neighborhood. Know the general layout of the city. And if you have time, take a train to the countryside!”
