Since its launch in 2014, The Trotter Project has been busy at work to continue Chef Charlie Trotter's dedication to mentor budding young talent through The Trotter Project's strategic partnerships with esteemed programs such as Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP), City College of Chicago's Washburne Culinary Institute, Kendall College and more. The Trotter Project's Pillars of Excellence Mentor Program, in tandem with these programs, are turning kitchens into classrooms and giving students in communities across Chicago, concrete steps toward realizing their dreams. With the backing of corporate support from our founding corporate sponsor United Airlines, along with Chef Works, Lenox, The Peninsula Chicago, Samsung, and Woodford Reserve, The Trotter Project sustains its momentum for growth and impacting young careers.
